DotEmu and Lizardcube have opened a new teaser website for some kind of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap revival.

The new game, teased as Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, will be fully revealed this Thursday, June 2nd, at 7 AM Pacific / 10 AM Eastern.

The studio handling the project is the newly formed Lizardcube, who were founded by former Media Molecule and Q-Games developer Omar Cornut, as well as artist Ben Fiquet.

Yeah it was. Second best game on the system, just behind Phantasy Star.

There was a PC Engine/TG16 version as well called Dragon's Curse.

They haven't said yet, hopefully it's this year.

It will be coming out on consoles & PC, so at least it's not mobile only.

That Monster Boy game is still coming out this year as well.
