So on Saturday my phone screen decided it was gonna look like it had been dropped, it hadnt but thats what the guy in the phone shop said it looked like, and by the time i got home from work it seemed to have fixed itself somehow. This led me to think it may be time to lok for a new phone only to find you cant get a modern one, at least in the uper band, with a micro/nano sd slot from what I saw, unless you go for a Chinense brand (my current phone is one Cubot, good ran & storage but according to the guy in the phone place a pain top get replacement bits for).
A bit of searching led me to the Samsung Galaxy A54 256GB model that can take a sd card to boost the space which is an option I really like even if just for whacking music & pics onto to leave the phone just for apps & games. Anyone got or had one of these that can tell me what its like to live with in day to day use? it falls under £500 which is nice as I dont really want to spend too much but want something that will be good for quite a few years & easy to get fixed if need be (with a big brand like Samsung that shoudnt be a problem) any other recomendation to check out are also welcome. Otherwise it mighyt be Chinese brand time again though the pars thing is a worry there
Looking for a new phone, thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy A54 if anyones used it

The Galaxy A54 is a good mid-range phone. It will do everything you want it to do pretty well.
The Google Pixel 7a is also worth looking at, especially if you can find it on special.

I've used an A51 that was quite a pleasant experience, the person who I suggested it to has been quite happy with it, but have never touched an A54.
I can assume the A54 is at least 3 better!

looks like it might have to be the Samsung as the Pixel has no sd card slot, I do like saving internal space by having my tunes on a card
