The classic Segagaga Translation Thread on DCEmulation

Posted nearly 17 years ago and still nothing! So many text heavy JRPGs get fan translations, how has this game never received one? Is that just not much interest in the game? I always thought it was one of the more popular Japanese only Dreamcast games that us English speakers wanted to play.

My first post in that thread was November 11th 2007 almost 16 years ago. And I've been popping back in every few years or so to make a post.

On January 15h 2008 I posted
"Honestly, I don't think it'll ever be completed, more than likely they will lose interest around 35%."

Christuserloeser replied to that with
"I doubt that. Deltahead does do professional work on commercial projects and it wouldn't look to good if they just give up."

Well you were wrong Mr.Loeser!

I'll make you guys a deal. When I win big in the lottery I will pay a team to translate the game to English. I may even go all out and hire some English voice actors to replace the Japanese voices. If I can do that maybe I could convince Sega to re-release the game on current consoles and PC!

I expect to win a lot so I'll also see what I can do about getting a re-make of Panzer Dragoon Saga released.

To be fair, we also didn’t think that Rent-A-Hero would get a translation after all this time, and that translation dropped out of nowhere 2 months ago. So there’s still time for Segagaga.
