Funnily enough, one of my horses was the one that didn't finish.
I had a trifecta and a quinella. 3rd and 5th for two of the horses, so not that close. The trifecta paid $17k.

My stepdad was sitting watching the TV waiting for the cup to begin. He claimed that they were running late this year. Then I told him that he was watching the Randwick races. I switched to the correct channel just in time to see the horses crossing the finish line. Saw more of it on the news later.
