Fixing a laptop queestion
So I have an old WinXp laptop which doesn't seem to hold power anymore. It seems to be a fault with the connection where you plug in the power lead. Is this an easy fix and I've tried different leads and it still does the same. When you move the lead even slightly it powers off. It's not charging the battery neither so I assume it's connected to the faulty connection?.

You can try this (2nd post):

If it's a faulty connection that needs to be replaced, it depends on what make/model it is on how hard it might be to change it.

Yeah, the connector inside the laptop is bad. If you know somebody who's good with a soldering iron, they might be able to fix it. If not, your best bet is to find an independent computer shop in your town.
