It's cringe as fuck to hear people call it world war 3... at this stage it's a fucking fence line dispute between neighbours. When Russia takes over half of Europe and New Zealand army troops are being deployed, THEN you may call it a world war.
Also, I hope all those anti war protesters are being shut down to the same level as those anti vaccine ones were.
Or is protesting suddenly ok because anti war is a cause everyone likes?
Ukraine has killed more people with nuclear power than Russia has in "world war 3"
It's shitty, because war is... But it's not world war 3 and no one wants it to be. Well maybe Russia, but it's possible they just want a bit more space for vodka production and beetroot farming.

Exactly. Nobody is going to defend Ukraine against Russia.
WWII only got hot after Hitler conquered a bunch of countries. Western countries won't get involved until NATO's first world countries are invaded, which may never happen.
I have a friend in Hong Kong who has some very interesting theories about what China might do in the wake of all this. One of the things he postulates, given the buzz going around there, is that China might try something with Taiwan and trigger something more.
