Another year goes by...almost 19 years!
I signed up on DCemulation on August 3rd 2002. So this August it will be 19 years that I've been posting between here and DCemulation. When I signed up that day to post about the possibility of running Genesis roms from the Sega CD I would have never thought I'd still be posting nearly two decades later!

It doesn't count, because you lost your username and posts!

I joined Consolevision first (~May 2002) because there was a bug with phpBB over at DCEMU, but Zoidberg got me in after I switched my theme.

Mmmm ... I can taste the Photoshop filters

Can someone tell me when I signed up to DCE? To be fair I was probably wasted then, and it got worse. I think it was 2003 when I FINALLY joined after creeping for a long time?
BUT IT'S ALL FINE!
is creeping the right term..
no...
FUCK.. what is the term?

Welp. I'm an idiot... LURKING is the term I'm looking for.
But in the end, it's the same thing anyway.

That was after I lost my first account. So let's just call it November 2001 then. Almost 20 years talking to some of you lot.

I lurked for a good while before I joined too. I would spend all day on the forums after I joined. Those were they days when you could post a new thread in Off-Topic and it could end up on page 2 by the end of the day.ian wrote: Thu Jan 14, 2021 1:37 am Welp. I'm an idiot... It is pretty crazy isn't it. Two decades! I wonder how long it will continue? Will we be here in another 20 years? As long as Dr.Zoidberg keeps the forum up and running I'll always be around. I'd guess that is probably true for most everybody else too. We've been here this long so why would we leave now?Skynet wrote: Thu Jan 14, 2021 5:29 pm Joined: Fri Nov 09, 2001

It would be cool if we could have a big reunion. Not in person just here on the forums. A time where all the old posters came back for a week or so. Ace,Amadeus Zull, Narcicuss99, Metal Gear Ray,Clessious. Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Oh and of course Mel's cousin David!

Zoidberg posting all sorts of random shit from his retirement home "I used to be a big deal on the Internet, ya know? I even had a comic created about me by one of the forum members" "Sure Zoidberg, take your pills"

I posted asking about how to fix the controller ports. I had that thing where the resistor died.

I had that happen to my Dreamcast once as well. I had my brother solder a new resistor on for me. Did you end up fixing yours? I recall he said it was a pain in the ass to solder it.Roofus wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 3:55 pm Thu Apr 11, 2002 8:42 pm

Oh yeah. I had my dad do the soldering and do a power LED mod at the same time.Calavera wrote: Fri Jan 29, 2021 12:05 amI had that happen to my Dreamcast once as well.
