Sanitizer might feel like a modern-day, scientific, and more clinical upgrade to soap. But I’m here to tell you that soap — all sorts of it: liquid, solid, honeysuckle-scented, the versions inexplicably only marketed to men or women — is a badass, and even more routinely effective than hand sanitizer. We should be excited to use it, as much as possible.
It will be very interesting to see what happens in the U.S., especially after all the political debates about Medicare For All. My opinion? It's not comforting to see that the federal government can't/won't release the number of people tested for COVID-19.

my biggest query in all of this is whats with people stripping shelves of bog roll? a symptom isnt shitting yourself to death for gods sake
The only logical explanation is people think they need a lot of toilet paper in case of a 2-week quarantine? We went to Costco two nights ago and they'd already started to ration people, I felt like a freak buying some but we were down to six or so rolls I'm waiting for someone to steal my bale of toilet paper out of my apartment's garage.
