Bad news! Happy Christmas and a merry new year to all

Post by ian »

I got bitten by either a bee or wasp.
It was a smallish black and yellow striped flying insect and when it bit me there was a nice sharp pain.
It may or may not have been Africanised!

It bit me about 6 inches above the ankle at about mid day.

Now half my leg and the ankle is swollen and walking on the leg more painful than walking on a broken ankle, so I’m sleeping through Christmas!

The usual pain medicine isn’t working, oxy and wine.

So if I don’t make it on during Christmas, I hope everyone has a good one!

You know, unlike some countries, you can go to the doctor and you won't have to take out a half a million dollar loan. You should go to the doc.

You don't have to take out a loan. They just take your house.

That won't work. Access to health care is reserved for the landed gentry.

Hope your leg doesn't turn into a wasp, ian.

I’m on many drugs, and my foot is still swollen to fuck.
Sought medical advice on Boxing Day.

Problem with the drugs is I can’t drink.
Good thing is I’m not awake long enough to want to drink.

I’ve been laying in bed playing house flipper a lot. Funny thing is I have the yard work simulator DLC, and got the sting doing real yard work, so the simulator is better.

House Flipper is surprisingly relaxing. :olol:

It's really good! I got it as a Christmas Present, and sunk 40 hours into it so far.
If I didn't have the yardwork simulator DLC though, I wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much.

Crazy game almost caused me to take a loss on 1 house though.. NOT HAPPENING! so I sold literally everything I could then resold it for a slim profit.

Now I've beat the game I have a 2 million dollar budget, and can buy any house I want again.
