good old 4th of July where Canadian kids throw maple syrup at houses if the owners don't give them hockey sticks.
Then the kids apologise for coating the houses in syrup, clean it up, and the owners give them hockey sticks anyway.

I think that's the correct holiday isn't it?

OMG Mel is right... Using the American system, the 4th of July actually happens on the 7th of April.
Not that April 7 is unimportant for the Americans, in 1933 Prohibition in the United States was repealed for beer of no more than 3.2% alcohol by weight.

And according to those crazy Americans and their crazy calendar format, September 11 actually happened on the 9th of November.
I apologise to Canadians for confusing their holiday with the 7th of April.. it's actually Canadian Easter that they do that.
