Radiohead’s New Album Will Be Released in June, According to Their Manager
Once word trickled out that Paul Thomas Anderson had reportedly made a new video for Radiohead, it seemed like only a matter of time before the long-buzzed new album was given a release date. Sure enough, on Thursday, Radiohead’s manager Brian Message confirmed the new album will come out in June.
This will be Radiohead’s ninth studio album and their first since 2011’s The King of Limbs, which itself followed 2007’s In Rainbows. Message made the announcement at an event at The Wanstead Tap, a craft beer shop and performance space in London. The venue of course tweeted the news, along with a promise from Message that the album will be “nothing like you’ve ever heard.” Too bad the world tour sold out in minutes.
