Fun fact, Backwards was the first episode of Red Dwarf I ever watched. It was some time around 1993 or so I'd say. My mum kept telling me about it. I was shocked because the whole time I thought she was talking about an actual cat when she explained it to me

Backwards was my father's favourite episode. He liked the other ones, but he loved backwards. I can still hear him laughing at backwards harder than pretty much anything else when we'd watch repeats and then again when I bought all the DVD's.

I'm more partial to Back to reality myself, YOU TWONK, BUT backwards was the best of series 3 by a lot.
