In news that proves dreams really do come true, Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures are returning to our TV screens in 2017.
“The thing about Russell Coight is it really is timeless, it is classic Aussie comedy and it is very physical comedy," said Network Ten chief content officer Beverly McGarvey, confirming the series' return.
“To be able to tap into Glenn Robbins’ talent, and bring that to a whole new audience is something that really appeals to us.”
Coight's mishaps last aired in 2002. An ode to Australiana and the adventure-driven gusto of those like Steve Irwin, the show featured Coight as he pottered through the outback - failing hilariously at bushcraft in the process.
YES!!!! Instead of watching shit like crocodile dundee and crocodile hunter, internationals should be watching all aussie adventures.
It represents what Australia is really about! And the stock footage of handshakes was always hilarious for some reason.

Great at enforcing the stereotype that we all ride kangaroos, catch crocodiles and like all the stupid animals that can kill us.
Most people freak out at a single redback spider or brown snake and have never even seen a crocodile outside a zoo.
Russell coight though, completely useless in every outback situation, like it should be.
you'll typically find most people in the outback want to shoot the animals, not catch them, when a whole country is misrepresented to the world by an annoying hippy with a stupid catch phrase, that sucks ass
We don't think that anymore. Lots of people used to act like Australia was nothing but The Outback. But then someone pointed out AC/DC couldn't play without electricity and Angus apparently went into an indoors school at some point.

Eh, I just saw him as a TV personality who enjoyed his job and genuinely enjoyed being around animals. You're probably the only person I've ever seen who has/had an issue with him. Yeah he's not at all representative of Australians, but he seemed like he was probably a decent guy.
