Saw this yesterday, so stoked! Love how it's based on 'Porno' (Welsh's book sequel), so hopefully its value won't be just pure nostalgia. Only thing I wasn't completely sold on was the whole "Choose life. Choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram..." thing - seems a little too obviously signally that we're in the present day. Could be being a little picky though, it's a good nod to the original at least.

I thought Porno was a darker book than Trainspotting. So that the trailer is just making it look like they're getting back for one last romp is kind of surprising.

That's true, I wonder how representative the trailer will be of the final product. I've been disappointed after seeing good trailers as many times as I've been pleasantly surprised by films with crappy trailers!
