Vince was good on television until the 2010s when he lost his voice and mind. Tony always gets negative reviews in the short segments he's done. The Young Bucks were making fun of how he is on TV a few weeks ago.

Tony is removing all uploads of Punk/Perry from Twitter and hasn't put the footage on the AEW Twitter or Youtube.

Tony's
says it all, WCW 2000 was trending I read.
I've seen the footage, it's a whole bunch of nothing. Punk walks up to Jack, they talk/shout at each other, Punk shoves him, gets Jungle Boy in a chokehold, Joe breaks it up, another guy too (Jerry Lynn I think), then Punk storms off.
There was no need to show the footage whatsoever. I don't believe this is the footage which got Punk fired, if it is, then
Tony coming from the soccer & football world must have seen much worse when players get in each others faces & have arguments & even fight(s) in training/practice.
I believe Punk quit on the spot & they created this story arc around it. Unless there's more damning footage & he's going berserk backstage & getting in everyone's face. Then again he's not a contracted AEW wrestler so serves no purpose as this won't increase ticket sales, merch, PPV buys etc
It might pop the rating a little then next week it'll go back to normal. I believe the fans were chanting for Punk & Hunter too (Will referenced him in a promo) so it doesn't get the crowd behind the Bucks & Jack either.
Tony should have started the show saying 'against my better judgment, I won't be showing the footage' and that they'll be focusing on improving their product. How are the All In 2 sales going, as this won't get fans into Wembley.
It's such a shame as AEW are losing their credibility, they're quickly going from viable alternative to WWE to an afterthought. They need to drastically turn it around, Tony is like a superfan so he must have seen so many great historical angles which drew big houses, sold PPVs etc remix those for today, forget WWE, it's not the Attitude Era.

One of the requirements to hire her was Tony had to hire her friend from WWE to do her stuff, so that person probably only knows the WWE Zoom.

AEW will slowly die now. That stupid footage is AEW's fingerpoke of Doom. Just an embarassment. TK is a fucking mark.

Is it worse than Billionaire Ted skits and Vince taking out ads in the paper talking about blading in WCW?

Re: All Elite Wrestling Thread (It's Wednesday...you know what that means.)
Can AEW do anything to turn it around now, even the hyped up security footage barely moved the needle.
There was no need to retaliate, just move it along. Although Dave said something interesting about not being a punching bag which is a very good point.
The way AEW should have answered back is by putting on an exciting product & by being the alternative they set out to be in the beginning. Loading up the roster was a mistake too, especially with ex WWE who took the spotlight away from Ricky Starks, Jungle Boy, Darby etc.
They should focus more on Dynamite too & make that a must see show. Like how Nitro used to be at one point. As for Collision, Rampage & Battle for the Belts,
For PPVs they should have stuck with 4 or 5 max too.

Dynamite should have all the stars on it. Collision the up and comers and whatever's left on Rampage and ROH.
Don't hire any new wrestlers for a while (except for Motor City Machine Guns). Use the ones you have already. Cut the guys you aren't using.

I don't think there is any coming back from this.
They should never have started doing the poop throwing thing with WWE anyway.
Focus on your own product, your own stars. Don't mention the fucking competition during your television time which is a commercial for you to sell your PPV's, tickets, and merchandise.
These potshots do absolutely nothing and while TK is in charge, this company will continue to rot.
They Need A Fucking Booker.
