Who Do You Think You Are is second best. I wasn't a fan of Wannabe or 2 Become 1. Stop was alright too.

Now the Beatles hit number 1 on the UK singles chart, and the Stones hit number 1 on the UK album chart, I can confirm that the current year is indeed 1969. (The last time that happened)

At least it being 1969 we can look forward to Woodstock, landing on the moon, and Concorde.

Californians: be on the look out for a strange little man who says he knows the Beach Boys and really, really likes The White Album.

The music industry was like "So Mac Miller is dead. Let's get a guy who is stupid and completely sucks and make these idiot kids think it's the same thing."

Spotify Wrapped is out, and I got Pittsburgh, PA as my "Sound Town" :nono: Didn't know I was a yinzer at heart, apparently for listening to Steely Dan, John Mellencamp and Billy Joel.

Of all those songs on Spotify's Best of pop year end chart the only songs I liked:

Laufey's From The Start because it sounds like that time in the late 90s people tried that retro kitsch lounge music.

Tate McRae's greedy isn't the best song ever but it's a good radio song as background music.

Raye's Escapism was alright.

Teddy Swims Lose Control isn't his best song but he's a great singer.

Nessa Barrett's American Jesus (not a Bad Religion cover) is a decent knockoff of Ultraviolence era Lana Del Rey

Isabell LaRosa's older tries to be an interesting 2020s pop song that stands out.

But boy these kids today love their reverb.

Last Christmas is the UK Christmas #1 for the first time.

And Cher has a top 20 UK single with a new Xmas song.
