Wrestling fans need to be cheered up. Hogan on Joe Rogan's Spotify show has some new doozies.

-He was almost murdered in Puerto Rico months before Brody.

-He had drug withdrawal from painkillers crazier than that scene in Trainspotting.

-Harley Race tried to murder him while he was taking a shit in Kemper Arena.

-He was friends with Brock Lesnar when he was a teenager in South Dakota.

-He was Brock's first opponent coming back from UFC.

-Vince made Kurt Angle shoot on him every night at house shows.

-PRIDE fighters tried to shoot on him in the 70s in New Japan (PRIDE didn't exist until 1997.)

-After Hiro Matsuda broke his leg when he came home his father beat him up for shaming the Bollea family.

-Sylvester Stallone demanded to be punched for real filming Rocky III.

-He was bitten by sharks for real on a Thunder In Paradise scene

It's pretty funny. I died laughing at how matter of factly he says "No, I wasn't naked when the cop came, but I was naked in the Denny's" during the story of Brian Christopher dating this crazy girl who was the daughter of a mobster.

Jamie also mentions that Bill has stage 3 dementia and just sits around all day smiling.

Yeah, that part was sad, Jamie isn't sure if he will make it to his birthday in a few weeks. He was working regularly up until the end of 2019 when he was 75. I'm not sure if that's when he got bad with th dementia because of course the next month was the beginning of COVID starting up so maybe due to his age he decided he shouldn't be out there. He did a shoot interview the year before he where was talking about some obscure Memphis stories so his memory was fine then.
