Kylie's new album is number 1 in the UK and Australia. In the UK it outsold the rest of the top 20 combined. This new single looks like it will be charting soon.

Of course he likes it, it sounds like a late period Oasis ballad.
John's voice sounds weird, but it's a good song, especially when the orchestra comes in

George wasn't a fan of this song. In the studio in 1994 he was said to have asked Paul "Are you going to rummage through my shite demos when I'm dead too?" Then Paul stopped wanting to work on it so the Third Anthology set didn't have a new song in 1996.

It'd be fun to hear how Now and Then would've turned out in the nineties and compare it to the 2023.
The anthologies were a big deal for us. My sister was a Beatles obsessive back then, so I always liked Free As A Bird. I don't really remember Real Love, though.
I'm glad Now and Then wasn't released back then. I like the newer sound and think it would've suffered with a ham-handed producer like Jeff Lynne.
