Man caught masturbating in public had meth, a cucumber

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI – A man accused of masturbating in public allegedly had methamphetamines and a cucumber when he was arrested in Dearborn Heights, police said.

The 45-year-old Dearborn Heights man is one of three men who were seen masturbating in the town within a week, FOX 2 Detroit reports. It's unclear what he was doing with the cucumber. He is the only suspect who has been arrested.

The suspect is facing charges of aggravated indecent exposure, indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person and possession of methamphetamines, the report said.

One of the other incidents happened Sunday, Oct. 1, when a man was caught on video while masturbating in a blue Honda CRV in the parking lot of OW Best Middle School; he opened the car door, revealing that he was fully nude, MLive previously reported. On Monday, Oct. 2, a man was seen masturbating while fully nude with the car door open at Hines Park.

Police are investigating whether this is part of a social media challenge or other trend, the report said.
