I recently acquired the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster which includes remastered versions of FF1-FF6. I mainly got it to play FF6 as I always hear how great it was on the SNES. Since I have the other 5 I'm wondering if those are worth playing. From what I've seen it seems most people rate them from best to worst as, FF6,FF4,FF5,FF1,FF3,FF2. I could probably skip 1-3 and be alright since those are originally NES games. Even with the graphical remaster I'm not sure how well they would hold up as I usually only go as far back as 16-bit when it comes to RPGs.
Just thought I'd see what the opinions here were.
Best to worth Final Fantasy 1-6 Which ones are worth playing?

That’s a pretty accurate rating. VI definitely gets the most praise and is worth playing through at least once. Wasn’t my favorite RPG, but it was decent enough. I’m not a fan of RPG’s where your party is constantly changing members. All the other FF games in that collection are your more traditional RPG grinds, though luckily this version has modifiers that allow you to cheat your way through them. IV and V are worth playing (in that order) if you end up liking VI, but just realize that they aren’t nearly as ambitious. If you like Job systems, V was the first FF game to introduce them. I can’t speak to the NES games because I never played them, but I can’t imagine they aged very well even with this remaster.

In chronological order is the only way they should be played!
Nah, play them any order you want.
They have added a bunch quality of life upgrades that can make them easier to play and less grindy.
