Who is most into their source material? Dr.Zoidberg VS Calavera

Post by Calavera »

So what do you think?

Does Zoidberg watch Futurama more often than Calavera plays Grim Fandango.

Or does Calavera play Grim Fandango more often than Zoidberg watches Futurama?

It's a tie.

I don't watch Futurama and you don't play Grim Fandango.

Although I will watch the new season of Futurama. And then I won't watch it!

And I have used Firewire exactly 4 times since I first used the name on DCE in 2005. (5 if you count PS2's iLink 4 pin to link ps2's for time crisis 2 and 3)

To be honest, the only one that concerns me is Skynet...

I actually will judge people who say they haven't seen Terminator and Terminator 2

And with good reason! Skynet gets such a bad name, but when you discover there are people who haven't seen the good terminator movies... well, we probably deserved to be wiped out as a species.

I'd constantly put a sarah connor on hold so I could whistle the tune of theme while hitting the desk for the drums.

We used to make the drum beat whenever we got word that one of the bosses was coming upstairs at my last job.

In the emergency waiting room at the hospital and they called a John or Jon Connor to window 4.

I'm not even mad that he got fast tracked, we need him to live!

The one place Skynet couldn't find him! The terminators targeting system would overload with all the people in here.

(I'm not sick, or should I say I wasn't sick before I got to this waiting room... So many people hacking up lungs with no or poorly fitted masks it would have been better for my health to literally stand outside the hospital in the freezing cold and drizzle, chain smoking and calling the information line for updates... 100% I'm getting sick from the 10 minutes in here)

On the plus side, I'm not the guy who just came in, his fingers are wrapped in a cloth drenched in blood and there's a lot of blood on his green high visibility top.

From the way he's writhing in pain I can only assume he hasn't severed all the nerves like I did when I was a kid.
Rookie mistake.

I was at the GP a few months back for a checkup. It's a medical center with all sorts of stuff, like a GP, dentist, pathology, radiology but it's definitely not a hospital. I saw a guy come in with some people, holding onto his hand tight with a towel. He walks up to reception and the following conversation happened (or as best as I can remember):
Guy: I need to see a doctor (gestures to his hand)
Reception: Do you have someone here that can fill out the paperwork while we see you?
Guy: Yeah
People with guy: We can do it for him
Reception: OK let's get you out the back

He starts walking to the back, one of the nurses stops him and some people with

Nurse: We can't reattach those, we don't have the facilities, you need to go to the hospital right now
Now keep in mind he was a 1 minute drive from a hospital just slightly up the road and could have pulled into the ER pretty quickly. No idea what some people are thinking sometimes

There's a good chance he wasn't thinking with the panic and shock.
And the people who took him there might not have known the severity of the fingers. (If he cut them off and then wrapped them and then was found)

Or MUCH more likely they were just a bit stupid.

Sure, I agree 100%, but there were at least 4 other people with him and he sure as shit didn't drive
