Didn't know where to post this.
Gave Panzer dragoon remake a go on switch..

It could be posted in the Sega thread as original console was Saturn. Or general gaming thread as it's a general game. Or Nintendo thread as I played on a Nintendo system... But here will do.

The targeting on this remake is impossible to hit anything, and that's after tweaking settings.
The curser is just a blur thats impossible to aim with, but not knowing where the fuck you're aiming is of little consequence because the game has been made easier and you can just potshot your way through the whole thing.
And I mean a LOT easier. On the original, I could play for hours just learning and perfecting so I started this on normal expecting to get my ass handed to me. finished in 39 minutes Gametime, taking mostly potshots. I think if I set this to hard and played blindfolded, I would get further than easy on Saturn blindfolded.

But as much as I don't like how easy its been made for an already short game, I adore this game.

I love the original and this remake was certainly worth the $1.75 odd it cost me. But at full price I'd struggle.
When they remake 2 I'll probably pay full price because I think they've done an overall great job here and 2 is a much more significant game.

It looks much prettier than it did, the soundtrack is still amazing, and now I can play in bed!

On a long drive to California, I went through this dusty old town in Arizona, and I see something we have always talked about but have never actually come across...until now..
