Oh my child, I owned the Amiibos well before Splatoon 3 was even announced. And while not a thermos, I did own water bottle once, though sadly it was not dishwasher safe and died.ian wrote: Sun Sep 18, 2022 4:47 am Nope. Missing the Amiibos and the hot water thermos and free balloons for the kids.

Ahha. So you don't have the NEW limited Amiibos that are a repackaging but otherwise identical to the ones you already own. And $35 more expensive!
You're practically bankrupting them.
I'll allow this mistake if you have some hastily made fan art or knock off merch. although I will understand if you choose not to share this fact online in fear of the Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad.
The biggest problem with Splatoon is that the series launched on wiiu, so only 5 people ever played it.

Does it count if I made the fan art in Splatoon using the post box?ian wrote: Sun Sep 18, 2022 10:20 amI'll allow this mistake if you have some hastily made fan art or knock off merch. although I will understand if you choose not to share this fact online in fear of the Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad.

I think that's too good, but I think it does count.
You've avoided my scorn* and the Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad this time!
* I mean the word scorn, not the game. And you shouldn't avoid the game scorn.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (Steam)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (Epic)
I have over 300 games from Epic and that's the first one I've paid money for. It's 60% off plus there's a 25% holiday coupon, so it's a decent price.

I finished THPS1+2 on Xbox but did the same thing during a similar sale last year. I think I've bought 3 games on Epic: Tetris Effect, THPS and World War Z. The rest are all freebiesDr. Zoidberg wrote: Sat Dec 24, 2022 4:46 pm Red Dead Redemption 2 (Steam)

If it was on Steam, I would have paid more for it on there. Epic is OK but Steam is still better. It doesn't look like TH will be showing up on Steam though.

I bought my second Epic game yesterday with Dragon Quest XI S. It was priced the same as Steam, but the coupon made it even cheaper. I regretted my decision, though, because modding the game was more complicated than the Steam version.

Got an 8BitDo M30 gamepad.

Very comfortable, can be used wired or Bluetooth, and I also got the phone-holding clip. It was actually cheaper here in Huezil than in any US store, and the clip was bundled rather than sold separately. Really a good deal.

Grabbed a Gamesir X2 from Amazon. Came out to about AU$84ish with some gift cards I had from work. Crappy AUD didn't help things but for $80 I'm happy with it so far

Steam Deck 64GB
Kogan have them at an OK price (A$747) so I grabbed one. I have a spare 256GB 2230 NVMe so I can chuck that into it.

I would get the collectors edition if instead of the Artbook it came with a download key for all of the inevitable DLC and instead of the pinset it came with the new link Amiibo.
JB have the normal game for $79 and the collectors edition for $189... Personally a book, a bit of metal and some pins are not worth $110. But the other things I mentioned would be.
I'll get the boring normal version thank you.

Re: Post every time you buy a new game, console, or accessory
I've been a bit crazy lately:
Early PS2 with Messiah 2 pro modchip. Power, RCA composite, and Component cables.
2 dual shock 2's. (Standard, but one doesn't have a ferrite bead which was odd, I thought they all did).
2 Memory Cards.
DVD remote (offical with the IR receiver).
007 Agent Under Fire.
Space Invaders anniversary.
Formula 1 2001.
Raiden 3 NTSC J (since ripped and sold to help pay for the rest).
Gran Turismo 3 (BOOO, but it has ilink).
GTA 3 (EU import, not the shitty censored local version).
Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex.
Buffy Chaos bleeds.
R-Type Final.
Tony Hawk's Underground 2.
2 Namco Guncon 2's with AV Feeder cables.
Vampire Night.
Ninja Assault.
Time Crisis 2.
Time Crisis 3.
Crisis Zone.
Dual shock (PS1 branded, clear blue)
knockoff PS1 branded memory card.
Worms World party PS1.
Replacement Laser for PS1 (KSM-440ADM) for my modded 5502.
Playstation 1&2 Composite / S-video cable to replace a stock one I broke recently.
I mainly got the PS2 lot because it had 3 light gun games I didn't have, and I only had 1 guncon 2.
I went a bit higher bidding than I wanted to when I saw an NTSC-J game in the lot and a missing Warranty void if removed sticker on the back of the console! I put 2 and 2 together and went $50 more than I would have otherwise on the gamble it was modded.
To fund this lot I had to sell ONE Saturn game! I hope while I get through this lot of light gun games they will appreciate in value and I can fund a current gen console in a couple of years.
The PS2 is now hard and soft modded (with a hard drive and freemcboot and open PS2 loader) so for those few games that won't play off the HDD, like a couple of the Tony Hawks and Groove Rider slot car racing, I can pull the memory card out and put in a burnt DVD.
OOH, OOH:
Also I got an advanced Pseudo Saturn Kai action replay cart and a Dreamcast clock battery and socket.
Gave my painted black Pseudo Saturn Kai to a friend and got this one because when you make a normal Pseudo Saturn Kai, you lose the backup memory feature of the normal action replay cart, not to mention the 1/4MB ram function... This one has a switch to keep all functionality, and comes with the bonus of being black to match my saturns.
As for the clock battery... Well its small way I can piece by piece bring my Dreamcast back up to code. I fixed the battery and Wonky controller port 1 while I was in there.. Next is a Noctua fan mod, then a PICO PSU, and then finally a knockoff GDEMU because I'm not paying current prices for old discs and the dreamcast will be set for the next 25 years.

PS3 60GB with 500GB HDD. Power, and RCA cable.
Sixaxis.
Dual Shock 3.
2X Guncon 3's with sensors.
Singstar with mics
Guitar Hero World Tour with guitar.
Portal 2
Lego Indiana Jones
Burnout Paradise (for like the 5th or 6th time now)
Little Big Planet.
Warhawk.
Sonic the Hedgehog (the 2006 one that was bad)
COD 4.
COD Modern Warfare 2.
COD Modern Warfare 3.
COD World at War.
COD BLOPS.
COD BLOPS 2.
GTA 4.
XMEN Origins Wolverine.
Street Fighter 4.
RAGE.
Killzone 2.
Uncharted.
Uncharted 2.
Ratchet and Clank Trilogy.
Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction.
Assassins Creed.
Assassins Creed 2.
Saints Row 2.
DarkSiders.
Time Crisis 4. (Both Jap and local)
Reistance 2.
Ninja Gaiden 2.
I've owned most of these games at some point and played or tried to play every single one except for Time Crisis 4 which is the real reason I got the lot.
I'm gonna be Crazy and set up the PS3 on a CRT via composite, and use the guncon 3 IR sensors to play it on a CRT like god intended!

Well, well, well...judging by the last two posts, ian owns every game ever made now.
