Programming

Post by 2dr »

I have decided to return to TAFE and do a course in Computer programming. Looks like Certificate 4 is the lowest one available. I don’t meet the entry requirements in terms of skills so Ima gonna get cracking on studying.

Got perhaps three months to get my brain 🧠 in gear and skilled up. Dunno if this belongs here, but it’s about technology so….

Not certain. Going to an open day in the 27th. Probably a few languages will be included.

I already know a little HTML & CSS but I would except some JavaScript, php and python.

Make a program that has no function but sinks data for no reason.

Like it's only purpose is to show how much data it's used and wasted doing nothing.

This program should have weekly updates that say a bunch of stuff is happening but in reality all the updates do is waste more data on nothing...

Added a fix for cache indexing! 364TB update, and the program functions identical to how it did before the 364TB update.

Great idea. I should write it so that it files a report upon itself, and the report is taken as a new thing to be reported upon. It would be like a pyramid scheme. Each report would file a copy of the report to the instance that created it. This way the volume of files not only increases exponentially, but the size of the files also grow exponentially.

So the first iteration would have the first instance clone itself as a report. The second iteration both instances would clone themselves, but the second would submit a report to the first thus doubling its size.
