If Shenmue came out today, no one would know what arcade games it has because it would be a broken piece of shit, and we'd all still be downloading updates to make it even remotely playable.

Sega drove themselves to the brink of bankruptcy to make great games like Shenmue. Now they just churn out any old shit and put it everywhere, and get better sales as a result.

To be fair, Shenmue 3 did come out over 2 years ago and made it to steam just over 1 year ago.
If it was free on Steam, I'd take it. But since I'm already invested in the PS4 version (I got my ps4 for 3 and then started playing other games when it kept getting pushed back) and only recently started playing it after the hate died down enough, so I won't be claiming it.

If Shenmue came out today, it would have 50 million pre orders, but would have been poorly made.
