I'm being putzy and scrolling through the forums instead of going into work. I have Bluetooth on for audio, and was surprised when I looked up. Never thought I could tune into BG Radio!
I had a complex for the longest time about when I really dove into 80s music during the Napster days. I would've been around 13 in 1999, when I asked my dad how to burn Madonna's Dress You Up and Culture Club's Do You Really Want To Hurt Me on a mix CD. I had anxiety problems as a kid, so I was worried for a long about what he thought. But those synths were like crack to my brain.
Before that, my personal music collection consisted of Chumbawamba, Hanson, Weird Al, and the "amazing" Mario-themed compilation album known as White Knuckle Scorin'. I was a weird kid.
