Well I have a dual core machine now.

My laptop is slowly dying. I popped it open and cleaned what little dust it had, and it is still racing to the top. I just went into the Bios and shut off some performance options and 65C and 75C. I just need it to survive until the sales start. I have a decent credit line at NewEgg and I will have 0 interest if I pay it off under a year.

Add some new thermal paste to the CPU.

Yeah that was the plan, but atm I am back up to 4 cores. Turns out the speed boost was the problem since it was over clocking it.
