Yep. No one has had a chance to forgive leia coming back from the dead in the cold vacuum of space and hovering her way back to the ship in the last movie.. Star Wars fans need a gap of between 3-20 Years to forgive bullshit like that.

The next movie will be ok because people have had time to reflect that it’s only fiction.

Solo's a good movie, not a classic but solid. It goes a bit long though, they could have snipped off 15 minutes easy enough.

Solo has the same problem a lot of movies now....the first two thirds leads up to a great finale and then a tacked on third act that limps along to an ending. See: Dark Knight Rises, among others.
