Haven't watched T2 for years (although I have it on VHS & DVD - same with 1 & 3 also) but was wondering is it explained why The Terminator is a good guy in the second movie?, also didn't he get crushed in the first movie too and unlike the other newer Terminator I don't think that model can regenerate itself. Or is it an entirely different Terminator altogether, just played by Arnie?.

It's a different terminator of the same model. He's good in the second one because the resistance captured him and reprogrammed him to protect John. How the resistance had the skill to do that is never explained.

OK thanks that explains it, well the first part. Guess the second part about the reprogramming is another plot hole

They have time machines so they could go back to before he was crushed by Sarah and re-program him because he was the best bot they ever made. Then all he needs are your clothes, boots and motorcycle. Your shades are included free of charge.

He found this all at The Corral. But if he went to The Golden Corral he would have had to ask "I need your XXXXXL clothes, your diabetes circulation socks and your Rascal Scooter." (to the non-Americans, Golden Corral is a buffet restaurant fat people go to. Come eat at one on your US holiday if you want to really look down on us.)

I haven't been to one since 1996 (after I saw Beavis & Butthead Do America with friends. Their clam chowder was abysmal.) but every time I see their ad during baseball games it makes me sad. Fuck Jeff Foxworthy.

I rewatched the scene on Youtube. My biggest plothole problem is why some naked guy didn't get "Hey man, what the fuck? Put on some pants, bro!" from every man in a biker bar (unless this was a Rob Halford style biker bar) and only one waitress act like she was turned on by some naked beefcake walking around?

I've been watching the earlier series of Red Dwarf and in one episode they have Dave get married to Krissy, where they have 2 children - Jim & Bexley. We're now up to series 11/12 yet Lister hasn't married Kristine and hasn't had any children, so is that a plot hole they forget about (I think both say to the present Lister in Future Echoes it will happen in five years). Another thing is how to do they bring Krissy back (I know she's in the latter series) but she's not really the original as she's from an alternative universe IIRC.
