That was a fun thread. It is a damn shame it was ruined by cheaters. I'll never get why those couple of people had to ruin it and cheat. It was just a fun little thing, there was like what 10 people max even playing. Why cheat? I never knew you could do a reverse flavor search until the cheaters were called out, so at least I learned that.
Me and Melancholy we played that shit legit. We'd be all like hmmm that looks like a spearmint and from the texture and color it looks like Wrigley's. Search grocery stores for all Wrigley's!
Then the flavor search thing was revealed and that was the end of it.

I don’t remember it. Who cheated?
All of life is a cheat and the internet made it too easy
It was you Ian, you were the cheater
I do remember who the two were but I don't want to say, no reason to start drama over such a thing.
They didn't even try to hide it, I'd do my best to stump everyone. I'd look through lists of gums and pick out a flavor for some obscure gum and it would be immediately guessed When that happened I had some suspicions but still didn't think they were cheating for sure. What ended the game was when Mel posted some really obscure Japanese bubble gum and it was guessed in like an hour.

Actually it wasn't Mel, it was David. Remember David?

It's been a few years since this post, whats he up to nowadays? Has he chewed any new kinds of gum? If you ever talk to him you should tell him to stop by here and say hey.

I heard through the Bazooka grape vine that nobody has talked to him in years. No idea what he's actually doing anymore because he isn't on Candystand or Hubbabubba.com. He doesn't even communicate with his extended family anymore to let them know where to get the best prices on buckets of Dubble Bubble.
Do you guys remember that tape gum?
I had it once in either very late Primary school or very early high school.
It's Hubba Bubba now, but what was it called back in the day? I know it was something different, but can't remember what.
I had the grape one, and it was great, but I only ever got the one roll that single time and it was as cool as Pokemon blue and a Tamagotchi, but after a single roll of this tape gum I can't remember the name of I went back to my regular Juicy Fruit. Which is the only gum I've chewed for the past 25 years.
Mints are a different story, there's heaps of great ones, but the only great gum is Juicy Fruit.
