Vampire Night with G-Con2 Gun Bundle (PS2)
Time Crisis 3 (PS2)
NFL Street 2 (Xbox)
The postage for Vampire Night/G-Con2 was only $2.95 from the UK. Thank you Music Magpie. Shame they don't combine postage though.

I mentioned it once, but I think that I might have got away with it...Skynet wrote:Don't let ian read that because he'll gone on a rant for no reason once again.OrangeRibbon wrote:The Eye Candy bundle, and the Friends of Nintendo Bundle.

Red Dead Revolver (Xbox)
MotoGP 3 (PS2)
Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary (PS2)
So I got that Namco Museum CIB from a pawno shop for $3. Checking out the sold listings on ebay it's going for around AU$45. I think the PAL version might be getting hard-ish to find.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend (PS4) - $14
Star Wars Collection on Steam - $20 (bought on May 4th)
It came with 14 Star Wars games. I mainly bought it because my son is obsessed with Star Wars and I wanted to play some games he would like to watch. I started with Jedi Outcast and didn't get very far before I was bored of it, so I switched to Force Unleashed.

Doesn't support save states but like I said before, for money you can't complain, all the hacks and translations I tried out worked really well.
Only a couple of issues so far, Strider was a but jerky in places (can't remember if that's the flash cart or the actual game itself though) and a couple of games bring up region warnings despite having the region free option on.

You can get one from Aliexpress for $38:

Or $32 for a little bit older one:

Or $32 for a little bit older one:

Most places sell them at $40 (which roughly comes to £20), they just do the basics and don't have a lot of the features that the original Everdrives do (hence the cheapness), also you can't update the OS on these.melancholy wrote:Where do you get one that cheap?Matisfaction wrote:Just picked this up for around £20, quite impressve for the money, plays 32X MD and SMS games.

Re: Post every time you buy a new game, console, or accessory
The cheap ones are Chinese clones of the proper Everdrive MD, they do everything the EDMD does it's just that the EDMD is the cheaper/older Everdrive version that doesn't do save states. The Mega Everdrive is the one that does save states, but apparently the save states can be buggy, although the people saying that might have been using older firmware and it might have been fixed.
Also in the first Aliexpress link above, it says that the one they have can do firmware upgrades. I still wouldn't try updating, although SuperUFO Company have been around for a long time so maybe they got it working.
And here's another one that says it can be upgraded and it's only US29.99:

The feedback seems OK. It doesn't come with the SD card full of ROMs but that's not a big deal.

Re: Post every time you buy a new game, console, or accessory
The Super UFO carts can be a bit dodgy, my brother has the super 8 but hasn't updated the firmware as they have a tendancy to brick. The Super 8 is quite old now but it's still pretty risky IMO.
The "Everdrive" I have is stuck on OS37, but verything I've thrown at it has worked perfectly. Just a handful of games threw up the "region screen", there is a region free option in the menu but I don't think the cart i've got supports MEGAKEY like the original Everdrives do. You can get around that by grabbing pre-patched roms though which usually have an [f] in the title, so it's not a big deal.

If everything's running fine then there's no real need to update the firmware. If I get one it will mainly for fan translations and some of the more expensive games like MUSHA.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered Europa Edition (PS4)
GTA Trilogy (PS4)
Chōmakaimura AKA Super Ghouls & Ghosts (Super Famicom)
When we got our SFC it came with Chōmakaimura, so it seemed like a good version to get for nostalgia purposes. Plus it's about a third of the price of the PAL version.
