Had a feeling Corny hated it, but he's right in this instance. Plus they relinquished the belts so it served no purpose.

Re: The Jim Cornette Thread
He did like most of Wrestlemania. He put over Ronda/Angle vs HHH/Steph, Charlotte vs Asuka and AJ vs Nakamura huge saying he didn't see flaws in those matches. And it's rare that he praises anything current.
He despises New Day, though. And shit on Brock/Roman. He wasn't impressed at all by Nia and Alexa, so there's one thing I agree with him on.

Re: The Jim Cornette Thread
AJ/Nak like I said was good but failed to live up to hype. Could and should have been a modern day Savage/Steamboat. I liked the Alexa/Nia match, it had elements of classic wrestling storyline, former friends against each other, a nice ending and it sent a good message to the younger fans about not fat shaming & such. What is Cornys beef with New Day? They sell a ton of merchandise and are over with the fans. I would turn them heel though once they do get stale and make them like the new Nation with Mark Henry in the JJ Dillon type role. Roman/Brock was good but the fans weren't into it as there was talk of Lesnar going back to UFC etc. The match was like a video game with unlimited finishers as in theory a wrestler hits their finish and it's lights out. Otherwise it's like in a boxing KOing your opponent, picking him up at the 9 count then doing it again ad nauseum. So finishers need to be worthwhile and false finishes kept to a minimum or used cleverly.

He hates them for being too goofy, especially the pancake stuff.

Apparently Cornette went off on Saudi Arabia on the Jerry Lawler podcast and it had to be taken down and 20 minutes of it were removed so Jerry wouldn't get in trouble. Did anyone download it before the editing?

Re: The Jim Cornette Thread
From what I've seen apparently Jerry had a paper saying things that people weren't allowed to do in the country including Jerry wasn't allowed to be called The King in public (although I think on the English WWE feed he was since they didn't hear that there.) And Cornette made fun of the controversy over a video of Carmella and Sasha being shown at the stadium and Cornette made a comment like "if they'd see some uncovered beautiful women maybe they wouldn't want to blow themselves up."

Good points. Bill Watts would have fired him as would 99% of old school promoters because it damaged the tough guy wrestler image they had back then. I wonder how Stu Hart would have fared in MMA same as other shooters like Billy Robinson, Lou Thesz etc.

So Coach is a mole for Big Dave and is covering his tracks or have I read that wrong?

No, Coachman hates Dave and is saying that nobody in the wrestling industry feeds him info.

No he's not someone who ever talked to Dave. Dave can't stand him. They were even arguing on Twitter when Coach was at ESPN.

This is why Coach tweeted that:
Probably not the worst but he was rotten on Sunday. They should bring Saxton back to Raw.

What Corny is saying is don't tell such a blatant lie if you think you're going to work people later. Because you're going to be labeled a liar.

Corey snapping at him was great for the dumb bear hug call.Dr. Zoidberg wrote:This is why Coach tweeted that:

That guy is lucky, that looked as bad as Hayabusa getting paralyzed.
