Re: The Jim Cornette Thread
Vince's e-mail: goddamnpal@aol.comJim Cornette has responded to recent comments made by Vince Russo on his Podcast One show.
Russo said he contacted McMahon in an effort to help out with the product, but Cornette knocked Russo and said he had it on good authority that Russo emailed them on a weekly basis.
Cornette said Russo sends emails out weekly after RAW, and talks about trying to help the show and getting a job back with WWE, but he hasn’t figured out that everyone sees through his ‘bullsh*t’ and didn’t want him back.
Cornette’s comments come after his appearance on this week’s new episode of WWE Table For 3, where he was featured with Michael Hayes and Eric Bischoff, who also spoke out against Russo and his ‘pathological history’ in wrestling.
Russo is also begging Meltzer to stop no selling him. Meltzer would humiliate him if he owns people all day on Twitter. He has 17 years of ammo against him. And Russo isn't smart or witty, so he doesn't want this.

Holy shit, that was so brutal it made me uncomfortable to listen to. That was possibly the most brutal burial in world history. Russo probably sobbed hearing that. But it's his fault for trying to escalate the war with one of the wittiest guys in wrestling with one of the worst tempers when he has zero wit. It's like Kevin Hart walking up to Brock Lesnar and slapping him, just the worst decision you can make.

A lot of people in the comments were saying they think it's a work. Well, if it is a work then Cornette has wasted his entire life because he should have been in Hollywood winning Oscars if he can fake rage like that.

Bro, you were the one who reignited this bro. If you wanted to ignore him you should have ignored him on Table for Three.

Cornette is as oldschool as they come and knows how to blur the lines, some of the stuff he did in SMW was pretty strong and got quite personal.
Im not saying it's a work as he really does hate Russo, but Jim is going to instinctively slip in to work mode and add a bit of spice in there
Even the unsanctioned bit at the end, was like something out of SMW, lol

Oh yeah, he's going to drop some wrestling in there by default because that's just who he is. Even the Dairy Queen incident was kind of a pro wrestling promo.
But some people are acting like this is being worked to lead to something, and I don't think it's the case. Cornette is just crazy enough to snap and do something that sounds exactly like a wrestling angle because wrestling has been his entire life for 40 years.

For a guy that misses the old days of Kayfabe, Cornette is naturally going to revel in this. Even Russo realises that it's part of Cornette's schtick now, but people still love a good Russo rant!
Its the same with this flippy do wrestling stuff, Cornette is again blurring the lines and working the smarks, I bet he's sitting at home laughing his ass ass off seeing all the indie outrage pour in.

He recently threatened to go to PWG with a baseball bat because he hates them. I guess he'll want Hiroshima II if he sees DDT.

Re: The Jim Cornette Thread
I understand why he doesn't like stuff like that, or the PWG grenade spot, or the Joey Ryan stuff. But he's overreacting saying it's burying the business. The genie is out of the bottle and not going back. Plus nobody sees any of this stuff unless they're smart marks. If WWE does something really terrible on TV, or even TNA, that's one thing. But who the fuck is going to see PWG that doesn't know wrestling is fake? You've got to go out of your way to see that kind of thing.

Re: The Jim Cornette Thread
He didn't come in just to get Cornette out. When TNA had to make budget cuts they said everyone on creative would have to take a pay cut except Russo, so he quit.
