Re: The Wrestling Podcast Thread
I'm going to be pissed if it doesn't win. We've heard 6,000 variations of "Savage was very over protective of Liz" in shoot interviews. It would be one thing if Bruce had insight on her relationship with Luger, but I don't think Bruce saw Liz again after he was released in 1991 (they were close to divorce when Bruce came back in September 1992) and never saw Lex again after he left WWF in 1995. I don't know if anybody has told the story of the epic fight between Heyman and Vince flying back from December to Dismember besides Paul, and he downplayed it since he always stays polite about Vince and Stephanie.

I was catching up on Schiavone on my drive home. The Uncensored 1995 episode was hilarious. Tony redoes his commentary on the worst matches and marks out over how awful they are like it's a 5 star classic.
Especially the part where (I'm paraphrasing)
Conrad: What's Col. Robert Parker saying to the crowd there?
Tony: Probably "My dick is bigger than all of yours!" (pauses) I can only say that to Sonny Onoo.

You also learn way too much about JJ Dillon's scrotum. Tony is insane.

I listened to a bunch of them a few days ago and caught up. Was that the show where Conrad said that Tony had to walk up to put it in, while Parker put it in and then walked up?

I think that one was on the Q&A episode when someone asked if he ever saw it. I guess he's the Batista of WHW now.

Bruce doing his impression of Johnny Ace asking Shelly Martinez about her nude pictures had me dying laughing. Johnny is like an IRL character on The Office.

And JR asking about dick pix. "Goddamn kid. I don't give a fuck, but we gotta know if there's pictures of your penis out there. We can't be at a Wrestlemania press conference with reporters askin' about your pecker when we have a main event to sell."

Bruce trashed Dave for not putting over the Shawn/Bret Iron Man match enough. He has probably been the biggest defender of that match. He's always talked about how angry he was when thousands of people left the show after Warrior/HHH. But it wasn't the best match Shawn had in 1996. He always worked great with Davey, the No Holds Barred match was great and was a good angle, and the Mankind match was legendary.

Oh man, a 45 minute Duke "The Dumpster" Drose vs Aldo Montoya match. That could legally be torture. I almost want to see it to see how awful it got after 10 minutes.

Tony 's Halloween Havoc 1998 is up. That's one of the ones I was most looking forward to. But not as much as I want to hear one on Halloween Havoc 1995.

Didn't Conrad say Hogan 1988 was going up today? I just see KOTR as the newest.

Wasn't the Hogan episode supposed to be in June?

Re: The Wrestling Podcast Thread
I'm not that excited about the Bischoff one. He's probably the most extensively covered person of his era. A book, a 5 hour shoot, countless documentaries, a podcast, talked about in 100 wrestler interviews. What is Bruce going to expose? He was a well liked employee for his 4 years, so there's no dirt beyond the Flair incident that has been covered repeatedly. He was an asshole in WCW but dropped his ego so even people who despised him for years like Austin, Foley and Jericho ended up becoming friends with him.
