So Sony fans, when did PlayStation plus get good?

Last time I tried it was when I first got my PS4 PRO, and it simply wasn't worth it. Only a handful of games each month and usually only one decent one at $16 odd a month and online play I never wanted to use, but it seems like they've gone and copied the gamepass model. There's an absolute shitload of games for the $22 odd for deluxe, and not just crap that you don't want like in the PS3 and PS4 days, but GOOD games.

When did that happen? If I knew it was this good I probably would have bought a PS5 like 2 years ago when my PC started struggling with everything.

I remember mostly enjoying it, but it was about 60 bucks here and I usually for 4 to 6 games a year I really liked out of it. I have not had it though for a while though.

Over the years since it was introduced, I've probably only had about 12 months of it here and there total before I realised the value still just wasn't there for me, might have been different if Xbox didn't have better games and better online services for 2 generations, and the majority of my friends who didn't play on PC, had Xboxeses.

But now with a huge library of actually decent games, and me being broke paying full price for the pro hasn't left me with enough spare cash to buy even a used copy of Astrobot, and $22 was the cheapest way to get me playing games till I can get some more.

I suspect I'll pony up the near $200 for a whole year, because while the price seems stupidly high, with the amount of games, and the fact that's only 2 new releases I should be playing my PS5 a lot more than I played the PS3, or 4.
