I've been playing Make Way.

If I was still drinking, still had game nights, and could still handle hanging out with more than one person at a time, I would call this game the best party game any of us will ever see.

It was so much fun with 2 of us completely sober that in a party like situation where everyones buzzed, it would be a better couch game than Castle Crashers, and Trials HD.

We played for 7 hours. So much fun. And the time between rounds lets you get more drinks and or snacks, and or toilet breaks. What a phenomenal game that anyone could pick up and have fun with.

I'm going to buy my own copy simply to support the developers. AMAZING!

I skipped to near the end of that and watched a bit, and those 4 were having as much fun as when I played with 2. :rofl2:

It's a game I may have to start game nights again for.

I tried to get into subnautica again, for like the 5th time now... I wanna like it, I really do! But I think I'm sick of Open World Survival Craft, not just from this game... But all games.

And being an Open World Survival Craft game where I'm constantly needing to worry about oxygen has made me get pissed off a lot quicker than last time I tried it.

You know what the world needs? A CLOSED WORLD DEATH DESTRUCTION game.
The last truly great closed world (IE levels) game that focused on death and destruction was Rares Blast Corps on N64.

I wanna destroy beautiful environments for a change. I wanna take something someone else has spent months if not years making every meticulous detail and I want to level it in creative, original and ridiculously over the top ways.

Surely, someone can do this instead of the 12,000,000th survival game this century... ANYONE!

I'm sad now. Warner Brothers closed Monolith productions.

I'm not as devastated as if a studio like Valve, Rare, or Rockstar North was to somehow ever close, but I am saddened that one of my favourite ever developers is gone, even if they've been a shell making batman and lord of the rings crap since 2012 and their last game was 8 years ago.

The blood, F.E.A.R, and condemned franchises have always been some of my absolute favourites, and that's not to mention No One Lives Forever which is the finest pair of shooting games outside of Half Life and Bioshock.

May the staff all find new jobs, and may Microsoft buy every single asset and give us a no one lives forever 3.
