You actually HAVE a dual shock 4 20th anniversary controller?
Sell it and buy your own United States state. Of all the 20th anniversary stuff I am sure 99.9999999% ended up being taken by bots representing scalpers, and this new round of stuff will be worse, so it's nice to see an actual gamer ended up with 1. I tried for a while to get one but never wanted to pay the scalper tax on them.

I was gonna wait till the games I want to play come out, but I will TRY and preorder the PS5 PRO anniversary. But with only like 12000 odd being made I am sure Australias allocation of MAYBE 5 will be sold out to bots in the smallest unit of time possibly conceivable.

And now I know a good looking one exists, if I can't get that I'm not paying full price for a shit looking non PS1 inspired boring PS5 pro.

Sony had me over a barrel before this anniversary console.. now they have more barrels lined up.

Edited for brainfart on numbers. Damn I'm old.

Yeah, I got it at Best Buy. They had one in the lockup at the registers. I saw it and immediately told them I wanted it. The two employees looked at the lockup and were like ‘wait, we have one in stock, where the hell did that come from?’ It was like it appeared from another dimension just for me to own it.

Well after swapping out the 4TB SSD for an 8TB one now some game saves seem to have vanised completely, rather annoying as I'd got many hours into that Tower of Fantasy game unlocking several characters & enjoying it, anyone ekse had saves vanish without a trace after such a thing? & if so know of a way to fix it, I tried to sync save data but that doesnt seem to work even though I'm sure it was backed up online, am I just screwed?

So the 30th anniversary preorder was a bit of a fuck around.

EB had their pre orders for the 30th pro console locked behind the impossible to get and even more impossible to keep level 5 rewards. And JB had a ballot system for perks members (which I fortunately have). buuut by the time JB HIFI linked for the ballot to win the chance at buying everything in the 30th range all the other retailers (EB BIGW and Amazon) had sold out of everything.

So if I don't win the pro in the JB ballot, nothing. Would have been nice to have a chance at a control if I couldn't get the system, but not to be.

Wish me luck in winning the ballot for a system, but I suspect I might have better odds of winning the lottery to pay for the things that I probably can't buy.

I mean if I win the lottery, I could buy the system from a scalper, but I wouldn't.
If I don't get selected for a pro I'll just wait till GTA 6 is out and buy some sort of system then.
