It is really weird the way GameStop have treated GI. If it's not making money, shut it down, that's fine. But it's not hard to treat the magazine and staff with a little bit of respect while doing it and to give a 30+ year old magazine a decent send off.

I hope they add analog controls. But I also think it'll only lead to more dumb Internet discourse about the beginnings of 3D gaming.
Croc was a good game, maybe even a great at its release. The tank controls, however, aged like milk as soon as more competent platforms came out.
Once Argonaut "fixes" the game with analog controls, it's inevitable that younger folks will crown this as a hidden gem. A masterpiece held back while under the mighty thumb of Nintendo's overrated Mario 64 in their revisionist history.
That said, Argonaut did get a raw deal from Nintendo after launching Star Fox for them.

I remember getting Croc back in the day and not getting very far because even back then the controls were garbage. Purists be damned, if they don’t completely overhaul the control system it’s not worth playing.pixel wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2024 2:12 amI hope they add analog controls. The previews look good, it seems like they're using analog controls because I think it's impossible to play that well with tank controls
