Yeah I noticed Vodafone are doing PS5 plans. I don't know if I want 2 consoles on plans but it's probably the easier way to get one right now.

Oh OK, so I won't bother. I'm alright with waiting for a while anyway.

Looks like the XSX will take longer to be shipped out than I thought. It might be a few weeks.

Game & Watch Super Mario Bros.
I wasn't going to get one, but I'm still pissed about the NES Classic scalpers so I bought one for Christmas. Target had 10-20 sitting around.
I checked again and they're still in stock, too.

I preordered one from EB Games because of the fact they were already selling out when announced. I still haven't received mine yet. It shipped on Thursday and so far has made it from Queensland to New South Whales. Knowing Australia Post, it will probably go to Victoria on the way to me here in South Australia. For context, here's what we're talking. I've had stuff arrive from other countries quicker than this!pixel wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 1:03 pm Game & Watch Super Mario Bros.

Australia Post are doing weird things. I ordered 2 lots of cards from a store in Melbourne last week. One lot, which I ordered a day after the other lot, took 2 days to get here. The other lot has gone for a trip to Queensland.

A few months back I heard it was because the other facilities could cope better, hence why I had a package leave Melbourne to Sydney, then back to Adelaide. My package saw more of the country than I have in the last 10 years

It's good to hear that we aren't the only ones with mail problems
The latest episode had a package coming from L.A. over ground, so I watched it bounce right down the interstate highways towards me. I went to sleep after I saw my precious package was in North Platte, NE, but by the time I woke up, UPS or USPS had completely circumvented me

Difference is we don't have a president actively trying to destroy our mail service, it does just fine doing that to itselfpixel wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:46 am It's good to hear that we aren't the only ones with mail problemsThe latest episode had a package coming from L.A. over ground, so I watched it bounce right down the interstate highways towards me. In Trump's defense, USPS has had its fair share of issues before he threw his tantrumSkynet wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 5:14 pm Difference is we don't have a president actively trying to destroy our mail service, it does just fine doing that to itself

Never been to Texas myself, so I can't dispute thisSkynet wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 5:14 pm I think we all know that picture is a lie, I mean this paints a completely different picture

It's a mini console Christmas! I bought a Game and Watch handheld last month, and have been waiting to open it. And my Astro City mini arcade cabinet just shipped from Japan and should be here by Dec. 24.

Re: Post every time you buy a new game, console, or accessory
I have an addiction to buying cheap Nintendo DS systems on Facebook Marketplace and eBay. I bought a DS Lite that couldn't read cartridges and got slot 1 replaced, but borked up the installation of a replacement shell. Whoops
But it's fun to work on these things.
A guy sold me a Japanese Mario Anniversary DS LL (XL) for $40 because the system menus don't have an English option. This thing is much easier to disassemble in order to replace the screens. The new screens should be here today, and I have the system half disassembled just for cleaning.

I'm keeping up with trends:
The Order 1866
Spyro reignited trilogy
Red Dead Redemption 2
All for PS4. I never use the thing, now I can have some more games to not play on it.

I bought an arctic white GBA off of eBay, a replacement shell and an IPS screen mod kit. I sold mine to upgrade for a GBA SP when they came out in 2003, but I've always wanted to get one again. Now that there are much better options that the Afterburner kit, I figured now is the time.

PS2 modding equipment
- 64MB memory card with FreeMCBoot
- SATA kit for the network adapter
- 2 TB HDD
- Component cables
- Replacement clock battery
I'd like to know what weirdo at Sony thought it was smart to sync the system menu interface to the internal clock, making it almost unusable when the CMOS battery dies.
