I was just thinking about Yooka Laylee the other day. That game was about 70% super fun and 30% fucking terrible. If they could fix some of the absolute garbage segments of that game, I would be down to play it again.

It's a chunk of plastic to stop a PS2 AV cable sagging. and it only costs $7 to get.

I'd argue audiophiles and Retro Gamers™ have been synonymous for a while now. Both groups love to gatekeep behind expensive equipment that provide nominal improvements. What's worse with Retro Gamers™ is that the cost of entry is so high for original software. Vinyl aside, common used CDs hasn't become a speculative market (yet) and good quality music can be had for very cheap.
