I have never got a new dog, still not ready to move on.

My German Shepherd was put down almost 5.5 years ago. I since got another dog to keep my old dog company and I love that little shit, but I'm still not over the GSD so this won't help

Today was the day. I made it to the car park before I broke. Managed to get inside. Sat with her for about 45 mins then left. I couldn't bring myself to stay longer. She was still with me for about 15 mins, so I was there for about 30 mins after the fact.

I swear to god if my gf's dad tells me one more time how hard it was on him because a) he didn't want his dog b) he didn't even take the dog in to have it put to sleep c) he made his daughter do it, I'm gonna fucking lose it.

I don't think I mentioned this but Grendel's girlfriend, Nala, is my dog now. Her owners were having some issues looking after her at the start of last year due to having a 1yo kid, full time jobs and Chris broke his leg in 5 places skateboarding, so I took her for 6 months, and when it was time to go back home Nala didn't want to go. I'm a dog stealer. I steal their hearts.





They've got another kid on the way and he had to have another operation to straighten out the leg and couldn't walk for months, so it was for the best.

Anyhoo, I was taking her for a walk today and this dog comes flying across a busy road to say hello. A friendly, weird looking greyhound.





The pound come and got him. He was chipped, so should be back home soon.
