My family went to a preseason Vikings football game last weekend and we stopped at Minnesota's Largest Candy Store. I got some Tim Tams!

Probably paid less for them than us.pixel wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 4:25 am My family went to a preseason Vikings football game last weekend and we stopped at Minnesota's Largest Candy Store. I got some Tim Tams!

I haven't had any in ages because I'm tight and not paying between 3 and fucking 8 dollarydoos for a packet of biscuits that are worth $2. Maybe $2.50 because of inflation.

I haven't seen candy cigarettes since the early 90s. I guess we were one of the areas that banned sales. And it didn't work because the kid I knew that's parents let him buy them (mine wouldn't) has been a chain smoker since junior high.

80s Australian candy cigarettes would have been popular in the US.

Sometimes you'd see how many fags you could fit in there at once

I've got a pack of candy cigarettes at home. I'll always remember eating them at my grandparents' house as a kid. My gruff depression-era grandpa thought it was hilarious that the grandkids were pretending to smoke in the living room.
They were around $7 US, or about $10 dollarydoos. I always get taken for a ride at that damn candy store.ian wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 9:11 am Probably paid less for them than us.![]()
