@Skynet ever eaten at this joint?

Visiting Remy's Deep Dish Pizza & Bar in Adelaide, South Australia to try Australia's First (and ONLY!) Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza Challenge! Brave diners have only 30 minutes to finish a 2.5kg Chicago style deep dish pizza of choice (I went with "The King of All Pizzas" loaded with pepperoni), a side of shoestring fries, and 1 liter of beer! Winners earn their meal for free, some serious street-cred, and a spot up on Remy's Wall of Fame!

I don't like Chicago style pizza. Regular deep dish is enough.

Yeah, screw that. I feel bloated halfway through my second slice of Giordano’s.

I've never had it. I like regular deep pan although the ones at Australian pizza places are still fairly thin.

I have not. I tend to stay out of the CBD if I can :olol: but that place is less than a 10 min walk from my old workplace, so maybe I should have just once.

There's a place about 10-15 mins away from my house that does very similar, it's all over their advertising. I've tried that style of pizza once but I wasn't a fan at all

It’s funny because when I lived in Chicago, me and my roommates would order Girodano’s deep dish pizza every other weekend. We barely ate any other type of pizza, only deep dish. It was the best.

Then I left Chicago and didn’t eat deep dish again for 15 years. Then they opened one about an hour away. We drove down a couple days after the place opened and…it wasn’t that great. I don’t know if they do it differently if you’re not in Chicago or my memory of deep dish was too rose-colored, but I just didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. I’ve had it again several times since and I always leave wishing it was as good as I remembered from my college days.

I had a spider today for the first time in like 15+ years.
The drink kind that is.

I'd recently got some raspberry lemonade and creamy soda, and putting them both in the fridge door next to each other at the same time triggered something in my brain that took me back to when my grandmother was alive.
This combined with some freshly purchased vanilla ice cream just hit a spot that soft drink alone wouldn't have filled.

I enjoyed the drink immensely.
I promptly went back for a second, third and fourth one as the first was so great... before I knew it there was only about 200ml in the 1.1 litre bottle of creamy soda.

I'm bringing 'em back! It's the 1920's all over again!
Next time I have one I'm gonna listen to some big band music and take the trolley down to the funfair!

I haven't had a spider for a long time either. The Coke ones were good.

The UK is obsessed with Indian food to the point where the Chicken Tikka Masala is the countries national dish. In this video Andy travels across the UK visiting curry houses to figure out how Indian food became a staple of British dining. And why, despite their popularity, the UK is at risk of losing these restaurants.
I like Chicken Tikka Masala too. I get a microwave one a couple of times a month.

I can't imagine that's good. Probably so dry you have problems swallowing it so could use a lot of BBQ sauce and not just dry rub.

Looks great, but it would destroy my fragile Dutch digestive tract.
