It's probably been over a decade since I've had Fantales but they were pretty good.

I asked everyone in the house and while we've all HAD Fantales in the last year, none of us have BOUGHT them since 2020, so the not enough sales statement makes sense.

If they're anything like U.S. businesses like Hostess, they'll keep Fantales going after they see the amount of press they received. Twinkies were supposed to be discontinued, but they came back after the hubbub.

The marketing stunt would have worked, and I would have bought some if my teeth weren't already fucked enough without them.

They're damn good, but god damn the temptation to chew them is so high even when you know they'll stick your jaw together or rip out a tooth trying to unpry said jaw.

For non-Australians, Fantales are hard caramel covered in chocolate. I'm sure everywhere else in the world has their own equivalent versions.

You can get cheaper versions that are called Mates or also called Cobbers.

They call them Rolo's here and they are really good.

We have Rolos too. Fantales are harder than those.

Imagine a caramel flavoured rock.

That's what the caramel in a fantale was compared to any other caramel thing you will ever try.

And don't think you could melt the rock caramel centre with the heat of your mouth... Nope, all you could do was turn it into molten rock and spread how many teeth stuck together.

Things Macca's have appeared in?

If my childhood memory serves correctly, in Richy Rich they had a private Macca's, so I assume the rest of the list is like that?

I'm still not sure what the fuck it is.
The meal is going to cost as much as it would to see all those movies?
The meal is all the food they served in all those movies?

The contents of the meal will range from simply unconsumable to absolutely the best thing ever?
The consistency will vary wildly from place to place?

They should be focusing on cooking their god damn onions and getting soft serve machines working.

I always thought it was a myth/joke about the soft serve machines never working. It was never really a problem here... Throughout the first 30 years of life I can remember there had only been 3 occassions where an icecream or thick shake was unavailable at a Macca's.

I've had 2 in the past year where they've turned me away... What is this?!? Hungry jacks every summer?
