Sorting through some old folders of music I was delighted to find 'to be or not to be' AKA Mel Brooks' Hitler Rap.
Now, while I watch Mel Brooks movies on a frequent, almost constant rotation. (I watch at least 2 every year) I haven't heard or thought about this song in quite a long time.

Hitler died in 1945 and this song came out 38 years later... It's been 40 years since this song came out and made it to number 3 on the Australian Charts.

If more Jews dressed as Hitler and sang comedy songs like Mel Brooks, the world would be a better place.

It's now stuck in my head. :olol:

I actually bought something new.

Gorillaz - Cracker Island (JB Hi- Fi AU Exclusive Neon Pink Vinyl)

JB Hifi have it for A$23.99 + $4.99 shipping, which is cheap for new vinyl. It might just be a pricing error, so maybe I haven't bought it. We'll see.

Boo!
I imagine any single album over $40 is just reaming hipsters who collect Vinyl.
Even my copy Of Daft Punks Random Access Memories was only $45. That's a sensible price. I can understand about $70-80 for an import like Yello's Point for instance, but a local new release should be cheap but maybe not under $30 cheap. Whats the correct price for your album?

$59.99

It's not even on the site anymore, just the black vinyl version at $54.99.

The CD is $23.99, so that's probably how the error happened.

At $60 for a boring non limited one, I imagine you'll leave it until you can find it in an op Shop in 10 years for $20.

Fair enough. That's like me with most records, if I saw one cheap enough I'd grab it, but I'm not fussed that I don't have that guns and roses box set.

On the other hand, there are certain records that I've paid quite exorbitant amounts for because I would have been bothered by not getting them.

He was friends with wrestling manager/former Gentrys singer Jimmy Hart and got involved with making music for the WWF for a few years that way. You can hear his work on classic albums such as "The Wrestling Album" and "Piledriver" After he left Simon Cowell of all people did the next WWF record.

With Stock & Waterman from Stock Aitken Waterman. Which gave us this, which went to number 4 in the UK:

Bret, Macho, Bulldog & Taker = Best boyband ever!
