Re: Card Collecting Thread
Added a couple of Big Boys to the collection.

Hulkster and Naitch were at a nice price at Cherry after they put the Leaf Metal singles up.

I guess your next step for the big ones is Cena? Or Austin? Or Undertaker? I don't know if Rock did any since he was gone for years.

Re: Card Collecting Thread
I got a Cena auto in a break a couple of years ago.
The Rock is in Leaf Metal (as Dwayne Johnson, he didn't own The Rock when signing), which are his first autos since the Doom movie 20 years ago. They are not easy to get.
Austin & Sting are the next two I would like. Austin is signing a fair bit, so while they are pricey, they are gettable. Sting wasn't hard to get a few years ago before he went to AEW, but now there aren't as many out there and they have gone up in price. Even his TNA cards have gone up.
The auto I would love to get is Randy Savage. There are actually some Macho Man auto cards on ebay, ones that he must have signed at conventions or at shows that have been PSA certified. They are all $1000+ though.

Re: Card Collecting Thread
I got another Flair auto. One of the weird Mythical cards from Leaf Metal.

It's actually a 1/1 due to whatever parallel it is, but there are a lot of 1/1s in Leaf Metal so it's not as big of a deal.
This one was priced at A$170, he then sent a $40 off offer after I wishlisted it plus I had a $10 voucher, so only A$125 all up with shipping, which is the cheapest Flair auto on Australian ebay by a fair bit. Even the non-auto version is going for closer to $200.
If only The Rock Leaf Metal autos were going for that price.

Re: Card Collecting Thread
WWE Impeccable 2023 is finally out. I got 2 spots in a Cherry break a month or so ago for a total of A$168 when there was a 20% off sale. Now It's A$169 for 1 spot. Will I get good cards? Will I get crap cards? The answer: Yes.
It was a fairly average box. The best cards where a Diesel auto, Sheiky Baby sticker auto, Teddy Long auto and a Randy Orton Stainless Steel card. I got none of those.
My cards were a Marlena Indelible Ink Auto Gold numbered /10 redemption card and a Johnny Gargano base card numbered to /49. I've never had a redemption card before so it will be interesting to see how that works out. Both cards are OK but a little underwhelming, but that's the way breaks go sometimes.

Got some new cards:

The Shamrock and Ortiz were cheap. A$30 each and I had a $15 off voucher, so $45 all up.
Ric Steiner and Terry Taylor were even cheaper than that.

Re: Card Collecting Thread
I got some gift cards from work so I bought a few things just to waste the money. I would have bought from Cherry but these were prepaid eftpos cards, not prepaid debit cards so I couldn't use them online

I bought another one of their $100 mystery boxes, I got this Jaden Springer card. It's not worth nearly as much as the Lebron James I got in my first mystery box from them

At least Springer is still in the NBA and it's a nice looking card. It's just not worth that much, as you said.

I'll definitely keep it, I just pushed my luck because the first one I got was such a good hit

I'll open them tomorrow and post anything that looks good. They're just sitting near my couch at the moment

The Elite cards are kind of boring, but these are the 4 somewhat interesting cards I pulled

Yeah, Elite blasters can be a bit hit or miss. The Nattie/Anvil card is nice.

The new Immaculate is looking nice.

A$900 for 6 cards is a bit too pricey for me though. Hopefully some cheap singles will show up.

Re: Card Collecting Thread
Ordered these cards off eBay.

The eBay store also has a proper store, looks like they print their own cards and get the guys in to sign them.
