Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
He's being prepared to be the HHH of the late 2020's and 2030's. I approve of this wholeheartedly. He has improved so much, separate from Rhea.

People are saying Olympic gold medalist wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock has everyone excited at the Performance Center and they're thinking she's going to be the female Kurt Angle.

I've read stuff about her doing well in training. It will be good to see what she's like when she starts wrestling on NXT.

I see FOUR SCORE AND SEVEN YEARS AGO, OUR FOREFATHERS SAW THE ENGLISH KING SUBJECTING US AND SO WE WENT OOOOOOOOOOOWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH AND SPEARED OUR WAY TO FREEDOM AND NOW THESE SOUTHERN STATES WISH TO SECEDE FROM US AND TEAR THIS GREAT NATION APART, AND SO WE MUST FIND JEFFERSON DAVIS AND HIT HIM WITH MANY SUPERMAN PUNCHES, SO THAT I MAY AGAIN LOOK AT OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO THE SOUTH, WHOM ARE ONE WITH US, ONE GREAT NATION, AND SAY ACKNOWLEDGE ME!

Rhea Ripley being compared to Chyna is like comparing a badass sports car to a turd. No, Chyna is not a badass sports car....

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
Chyna had a great look that drew ratings but she never learned to be a good wrestler and her promos were average. Rhea is one of the best all around, male or female, that WWE has today. All of the veterans have put her over as very intelligent in working a match. Ric Flair said she's one of his favorites to watch.

Also, Chyna was a shit human being. I will give her a little leeway because she went through some bullshit, but she had a massive ego and as she got more famous, she became more of a pain in the ass to deal with, and there are multiple reports of her treating her peers and fans like shit.
Rhea Ripley, however, works hard and away from the ring is a giant cinnamon roll of a person who has earned her spot through work ethic and talent, not from politicking.

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
WWE just had to report to their shareholders Vince is under criminal investigation and a search warrant was executed on his home July 17th.
As previously disclosed on June 17, 2022, a Special Committee of the Board of Directors was formed on June 15, 2022 to investigate allegations of misconduct by Vince McMahon. As previously disclosed, the Special Committee investigation was completed during the fourth quarter of 2022. However, related government investigations remain ongoing.
On July 17, 2023, federal law enforcement agents executed a search warrant and served a federal grand jury subpoena on Mr. McMahon. No charges have been brought in these investigations.
The Company has received voluntary and compulsory legal demands for documents, including from federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies, concerning the investigation and related subject matters.
Fully consistent with prior expectations, the Company and Endeavor expect their transaction to be closed in the second half of 2023.

So is Vince's hands currently off the WWE product again so we'll have another few months of it being good before he starts meddling again?

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
She, Trish and Rhea must have been fucking livid that not only did the main event get 58 MINUTES where only 35 was the match (and this isn't an Okada workathon, they were spending half of that just staring at each other) that the show went late any way when they were told they could be on because WWE doesn't want shows to run past 4 hours any more.

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
Cody/Lesnar was good, glad Iyo Sky won, did not give two fucks about the rest. You fucking mean you couldn't give your three biggest female stars screen time but goddamn Roman and Jey get an hour to flop around like fish every five minutes between a big spot with a finish that a blind man could have seen coming? Fucking hell this company never fails to get me excited and then shit all over it.
