Re: Wrestler Death thread
I was thinking about him the other day. I hope he found some peace. Dude was dealt a raw hand and it wasn't anyone's fault.
Out of respect, let's x-nay anything involving 'Puke' here.

He was a strong man for how he handled it. Never complained once. Kept telling D-Lo to never blame himself because it was just an accident. Didn't even bad mouth WWE when they cut his contract in 2007 even though they told him he had a job for life.

RIP Darren Drozdov
Sad news. He lived 20+ years after being paralyzed, so he was tough.
Hopefully D-Lo is doing OK.

R.I.P. Adrian Street
He also gets good guy points for shooting on Jimmy Saville when he tried to wrestle.

The very definition of the word underrated. Should have been a way bigger star than he was. Could have killed anyone in the ring with his bare hands and no one could have done shit about it. RIP to one of my faves.

Vince wouldn't hire him because he was only 5'7". He just made Adrian Adonis do the gimmick.Ocelot wrote: Tue Aug 01, 2023 2:16 am The very definition of the word underrated. I say this all the time but fuck man, I need to read his books now. If I weren't broke I'd buy the whole set now.

RIP Ice Train
If he came around today instead of the 90s he would have been a bigger star.

Tony Jones, who was featured in Beyond The Mat as one of the indie wrestlers (the one Jim Ross said "Build something a little more flattering for your upper body") died of unknown cause last night.
