I watched AEW on Max. Ok, I tried to.
I liked the Hart/Hayter match. Started off with them a little out of it but by the 2nd half of the match they'd worked off the rust and found their timing. Hayter leaning into the 70's porn star with the BIG BUSH vibe (I'd hit it) and her and Julia started to run on all cylinders by the end. The fact that they woke up this dead ass crowd says a lot.
I liked the angle with Swerve and Ricochet although I feel like Ricochet doesn't have long on TV. Don't know if he will be there by the end of 2025. Swerve is so damn magnetic to watch. Build the company around him and Osprey and you'd draw a billion dollars.
Mercedes' segment was a waste of time.
THREE MINUTE ad breaks for commercials and no picture in picture? Whadafaq? My adhd ass couldn't even try to stay focused.
Rest of the show was....not their best effort for a first show on MAX.
They have something special possibly but they have GOT to tighten up their booking, figure out a direction and get picture and picture back because giant chunks of that show were unwatchable and/or choppy.

She's refusing to do anything with Jamie Hayter because they had some kind of falling out IRL. But that's really her only angle people want to see, either them back together or feuding. So she needs to be reminded people who literally tried to kill each other ended up making money together doing programs. Somebody show her some shoot interviews.

This is a lesson in how important it is to cultivate harmony in your locker room and make sure you have the respect of everyone there and treat everyone fairly and kindly, because here you have what should have been a future hall of fame level career ((Brit vs Toni at some point could have sold a PPV in about a year)) flushed down the toilet because of a bad attitude.

I love the idea of her working with Tess. Maybe it'll become a shoot and they will hurt one another badly. That would be amazeballs.
