The team itself had male cheerleaders before the nineties. Granted they never looked as fabulous as Blaize here with his lip gloss. I went to the game with my family and we saw him dance in one routine. There was a gay couple in front of us and I'd say the stadium was at least 40-50% women, so the team isn't wrong on the demographics.

It's a ragebait conservative wedge issue and these types of "TRADITIONAL PATRIOT MOM WATCH" accounts are going to see whether it goes viral. Now granted, I don't like his weird mustache but that's a personal preference.

I've never been a big fan of the cheerleaders myself. It's a dance team that goes out on the field a couple times a game. Most fans can't even really see them that well anyway. I'd rather have the acrobatic stuff that I see at a Timberwolves game, the sexy cheerleaders are nice to look at but it's just boring to me.
